HOMESTEAD Larry gets a mention in VA newspaper 21 November 2003 Here's an excerpt from an August Free Press article by Russell Schmidt: Why did Larry Foyt have such a good day in the final race to finish a career-high 13th? Because they leased a Ray Evernham piece that was far from the so-so quality of stuff previously used by the one-car team. Maybe it is the cars. YA THINK?! = D I'm glad that this reporter made note of Larry's admirable performance in the Evernham equipment, and led people to thinking about the fact that he's been riding around in substandard equipment throughout most of the season.
