Atwood makes return to Busch Series
Casey Atwood, inactive in the Busch Series for eight months, is back on tour this weekend.
Atwood is driving Ray Evernham's No. 6 Dodge, which has used four drivers this season. Atwood drove for Everham's Nextel Cup team in 2001 but was let go after just a year.
"I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of a Busch car, especially with the guarantee of being in top-notch equipment that is capable of running up front," said Atwood.
The team's regular driver, Paul Wolfe, will have to temporarily give up his seat for the second time this season. The timing couldn't be worse, as Wolfe finished a career-best 10th at Nashville last weekend.
