Steve Park Lands Busch Ride

NASCAR veteran Steve Park has landed a part-time ride for the upcoming Busch Series season. The 38-year old will steer Marsh Racing's No.31 Chevy with backing from Whelen Engineering.

Park spent 2005 with Orleans Racing in the Craftsman Truck Series, but was released from that ride with three races to go in the season. He won the NCTS Truck race at California Speedway last February.

"I'm thrilled to announce that I will drive the No.31 Whelen Engineering Monte Carlo for 10 select races during the 2006 Busch Series season," Park stated. "Everyone at Whelen & Marsh Racing has always been so good to me and I am so excited to be back behind the wheel of the Whelen machine."

Marsh entered the No.31 for driver Dave Blaney in nine Busch races last year, but the effort produced no top-10 finishes.
